Western Coalfields Limited (WCL) is a public sector undertaking under the Ministry of Coal, Government of India. It is headquartered in Nagpur, Maharashtra. WCL invites online applications from eligible candidates for the Apprenticeship program under the Apprentices Act 1961.

The WCL Apprentice Recruitment 2023 notification has released 1191 vacancies for the following trades:
- ITI Trade Apprentices: 853 posts
- Graduate Apprentices: 238 posts
- Technician Apprentices: 100 posts
WCL Apprentice 2023 Eligibility Criteria
The candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria to apply for the WCL Apprentice Recruitment 2023:
- They must have passed the 10th standard or equivalent examination.
- They must have passed the ITI examination in the relevant trade.
- They must have passed the diploma examination in the relevant trade.
- They must have passed the graduate examination in the relevant discipline.

- Graduate Apprentices: 28 years
- Technician Apprentices: 28 years
