Madhya Pradesh MPPSC State Service Exam SSE 2023: Apply Online for 227 Posts
The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has released the notification for the State Service Examination (SSE) 2023. The exam will be conducted to fill 227 vacancies in various departments of the state government.
The SSE is a two-tier examination consisting of a Preliminary Examination and a Main Examination. The Preliminary Examination will be held on February 11, 2023, and the Main Examination will be held in May-June 2023.

The Preliminary Examination will be objective in nature and will consist of two papers: General Studies Paper-I and General Studies Paper-II. Each paper will have 100 questions of 2 marks each. The total duration of the Preliminary Examination will be 2 hours 30 minutes.
MPPSC State Service Exam 2023 Main Examination Subject
The Main Examination will be of a written and interview nature. The written examination will consist of six papers:
- Paper-I: General Studies
- Paper-II: Economics
- Paper-III: History and Culture of Madhya Pradesh
- Paper-IV: Public Administration
- Paper-V: Law
- Paper-VI: Optional Subject
The interview will be held for the candidates who qualify the written examination.
MPPSC State Service Exam 2023 Age Limit
- The age limit for the SSE 2023 is 21-35 years. The upper age limit is relaxed for certain categories of candidates.

- The application fee for the SSE 2023 is Rs. 500 for General Category candidates and Rs. 250 for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
