GBMM Is Hiring : Gram Bharti Mahila Mandal Seeks Project Coordinator
Gram Bharti Mahila Mandal (GBMM), a leading non-profit organization dedicated to empowering women in rural India, is seeking a motivated and experienced Project Coordinator to join its team for a 36-month initiative across Vidisha and Sironj.
Project Overview:
This project aims to improve the lives of women in underserved rural communities through a range of interventions focused on:
- Skill development and livelihood generation: Providing training and resources for women to gain new skills, start businesses, and increase their income.
- Health and hygiene promotion: Raising awareness about essential health issues and promoting healthy practices among women and families.
- Education and literacy: Supporting girls’ education and promoting adult literacy programs for women.
- Empowerment and leadership development: Building women’s self-confidence and leadership skills through workshops and community-based activities.
Responsibilities of the Project Coordinator:
- Implement and oversee all project activities within the defined timelines and budget.
- Collaborate with GBMM staff, local communities, and partner organizations.
- Manage project finances, including budgeting, reporting, and donor compliance.
- Monitor and evaluate project progress and impact, providing regular reports to stakeholders.
- Develop and implement training programs for project beneficiaries.
- Build relationships with government officials, community leaders, and other key stakeholders.
- Represent GBMM at meetings and events.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Master’s degree in MA/MSW/MBA.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in rural development or women’s empowerment programs.
- Strong understanding of women’s issues and rural development challenges in India.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, track project progress, and prepare reports.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Fluency in Hindi and English.
- Experience working in rural communities and with diverse stakeholders is highly desirable.
